Surveys

Your Voice Matters

CSPA surveys are a simple yet powerful way to help shape the direction of Catholic education in Australia.  We encourage all families to participate and stay engaged.

At Catholic School Parents Australia (CSPA), we believe that parents and carers are the first and most important educators of their children. To effectively represent Catholic school families at the national level, it is essential that we stay informed about the issues, experiences, and priorities that matter most to them.

That’s why CSPA conducts regular national surveys—giving families across Australia a voice in the future of Catholic education.

Why Our Surveys Matter

  • Informed Advocacy

Survey findings provide valuable insights that shape our national advocacy. They help us raise the real concerns of families in meetings with the Federal Minister for Education, Department of Education, and other key stakeholders.

  • Evidence-Based Representation

We use data collected from parents and carers to inform policy submissions, funding discussions, and educational initiatives. This ensures that Catholic school families are represented with integrity and accuracy.

  • Identifying Trends and Challenges

Our surveys highlight emerging issues and ongoing challenges—whether it's access to affordable education, digital learning, student wellbeing, or engagement with schools—so we can work towards meaningful solutions.

  • Guiding School-Family Partnerships

Schools benefit from understanding the perspectives of the families they serve. Our survey reports offer actionable insights that help strengthen partnerships between families and Catholic schools.

Who Participates?

CSPA surveys are open to all parents and carers of children in Catholic schools, no matter where they live in Australia. We ensure that the voices of families from urban, regional, rural, and remote communities are captured and respected.
